Meet Anna (Our Founder)
CRNA / Aesthetic Injector
Anna, the owner of Skin Science Aesthetics, Nurse Anesthesiologist and Family Nurse Practitioner, is deeply passionate about helping others. Her journey into the world of aesthetics began as she sought a way to utilize her skills and knowledge outside of anesthesia.

With the onset of the pandemic coinciding with her 40th birthday, Anna found herself intrigued by aesthetic treatments but unsure of whom to trust with her own facial care. However, upon discovering a colleague's aesthetics boutique in Wisconsin, @nurturher_aesthetics, Anna found the trust and results she sought.

Impressed by the natural and refreshed outcome, Anna embarked on a journey to become an Aesthetic Injector herself. She traveled to Michigan to learn from a renowned CRNA with an exceptional MedSpa and Aesthetic Academy. Eager to refine her craft, Anna continues to seek education from leading injectors nationwide, always striving to bring the most natural-looking treatment techniques to Albuquerque.

For Anna, the joy lies in personalizing treatment plans to help clients achieve their aesthetic goals. Opening Skin Science Aesthetics has been transformative, allowing her to form lasting relationships and assist numerous individuals on their aesthetic journeys. Marissa brings clinical precision and an eye for balance to every treatment. As an aesthetic injector, she focuses on natural-looking refinement—softening lines, restoring proportion, and enhancing features without changing your recognizable expression. Expect a calm, educational visit where your goals drive the plan and aftercare feels simple and doable.
Special interests: neuromodulators, facial balancing with HA fillers, GlowTox, event-timed treatment plans.

Rebecca Ortiz
Licensed Aesthetician
Rebecca pairs results-driven skincare with a barrier-first philosophy. Her facials are personalized and clinical—think deep cleanse, precise exfoliation, targeted infusion, and LED—so your skin looks clear, calm, and camera-ready. She builds home routines that fit real life, using medical-grade products that work.
Special interests: Stem Cell Facial (AquaFirme + exosomes), Dermaplane, Pumpkin Potion Facial, VI Peel series, acne-safe routines.
