Sculptra gradually induces collagen production that is significant enough to fill out facial contours, grooves, and hollows, and add a lifted effect to cheeks. Results do not appear immediately, but the effects are the longest lasting for 2 or more years. Sculptra is administered over multiple injections and takes several weeks before you see the volumizing effects of new collagen filling and lifting targeted areas.
Contraindications to treatments:
- If you have a history of a neuromuscular or immunosuppressive disorder, please get a signed note from your treating provider authorizing the use of Sculptra
- History of abnormal or keloid scarring
- blemishes, rash, infection at treatment site
- If you are on blood thinners. If you take aspirin or Ibuprofen we recommend stopping for 3-5 days before treatment. Please consult your primary provider before discontinuing of you are taking them for a medical condition
- If you are pregnant or breastfeeding
